Rates 2026
Laurier Psychologie uses rates based on those set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit, NZa). The consultations below are the ones most commonly used in the practice.

Reimbursement by your health insurer
Laurier Psychologie does not have contracts with health insurers. The amount reimbursed depends on your policy, your insurer’s conditions and whether the treatment qualifies as insured care. You may have to pay part of the costs yourself.
For reimbursement, an appropriate referral is required, usually from your GP. For Dutch basic mental healthcare (basis-GGZ), please provide a referral stating this at the intake, on paper or digitally. A referral does not automatically mean all costs will be reimbursed.
Before your first appointment, ask your health insurer what they reimburse for a non-contracted GZ psychologist and how much you will need to pay yourself.
You pay by debit card after each session. You then receive an invoice that you can submit to your health insurer. The insurer reimburses the amount you are entitled to under your policy.
Dutch mandatory deductible
For insured adult mental healthcare in the Netherlands, the mandatory deductible (eigen risico) applies. In 2026 the statutory deductible is €385 per year. If you have voluntarily chosen a higher deductible, the amount can be higher. Different rules may apply to care for young people; please discuss this in advance.

Cancellation and no-show
If you cannot attend, please cancel by email as soon as possible. There is no charge if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance. A fee of €60 applies to later cancellations or missed appointments. This fee is not reimbursed by health insurers.
